We are looking to hire a candidate for the position of “Assistant Manager – Procurement” based at Head Office, Karachi
Requirements:
-BBA/MBA majors in Supply Chain
– 5 to 6 years of experience
Responsibilities:
– Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
– Import & Local procurement for according to company’s Standards.
– Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
– Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers, keep strong follow up of inventory level from store.
– Verify purchase orders for accuracy, completeness and clarity,
– Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
– Maintain AMC / SLA of Retail outlets and Head Office.
– Projects OFM items procurement as per architect / consultant standards.
– Maintain logistics rental vehicle agreements and movement plan.
– Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
– Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
– Procure for outlet (EAS system, Retail solution, Surveillance system, Networking, Servers, Walkthrough Gate, fire & safety equipment’s, Phoenix security system & equipment etc.)
– Maintaining inventory in respective warehouse / Retail Store & Replenish inventory and re-ordering.
– Procuring all type of accessories, stationery, admin & janitorial items with complete negotiation at best rates.
– Obtain quotations from vendors, negotiation and make cost comparison.
– Liaise with Accounts Payable Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
