Job Role
- Lead audit teams responsible to carry out audits of the Enterprise & Operations domain of both PTCL & PTML. These largely take account of Regulatory, Corporate Compliance, and Business Operations including their regions.
- Make sure quality of audit projects as per IIA Standards and adequate documentation in teammate software
- Provide audit plan/ extraordinary assignment targets allocated to your domain
Responsibilities
- Make sure execution of approved Audit Plan for the particular domain that includes Business Operations, HR, Strategy, Regulatory, Legal, and Business Services of PTCL & PTML.
- Direct & supervise audit and other projects including evaluation of working paper files.
- Manage & Execute special assignments and consulting engagements.
- Evaluation of all work executed in the domain for adherence to quality standards, IA Manual, and best practices
- Completion of draft and final reports for IA Management review & issuance including Management Action Plan.
- Contribution to preparations of executive summaries of the respective domain for Audit Committee and Management reporting.
Qualifications, Experience, and competencies
- Chartered Accountant (ACA/FCA).
- CIA will be a plus
- Knowledge of Corporate Audit / Finance
- Internal Audit experience at the high-ranking level
- Familiarity in the Telecom Industry will be preferred.
- Awareness of Financial Reporting and Auditing standards
- Understanding of designing and implementing procedures and controls
- Knowledge in auditing large organizations like PTCL Group (i.e. through Internal Audit and/or working in Big-4 CA firms)
- Solid working knowledge of the telecom industry
- Wide-ranging understanding of PTCL Group’s main support and operating functions
- Working understanding of PTCL’s Zonal & regional operations
- Knowledge of economic atmosphere, financial systems, ERP and billing systems, etc.
- Robust Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk, and Controls)
- Knowledge and appreciation of legal and corporate laws
