Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist

Education & Experience:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in SCM, business or a related field
• 2-3 Years of relevant experience
Responsibilities:
• A highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist specializing in biomass fuels
including rice husk, sugar bagasse, wood crush., etc.
• The person will be responsible for efficiently managing the end to-end supply chain for materials
essential in operating biomass boilers.
• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for biomass fuels, ensuring a stable and cost-effective supply chain.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and analyze supply chain risks to proactively address potential disruptions.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand fuel requirements and optimize inventory levels.
Requirements:
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, pricing, and risk factors.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and sustainability standards related to biomass fuel sourcing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional terms
